Privacy Policy

What personal data we collect through lahajam.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.

1. Who we are

LAHAJAM (PRIVATE) LIMITED (trading as Lahajam Pvt Ltd) is a garment stitching unit registered in Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (CUIN 0335742).

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Contact form. When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email, country and style description (required), plus company, phone or WhatsApp number, buyer type, product type, fabric source, estimated quantity, target delivery date and your message (optional).

Email and WhatsApp. If you email or message us, we receive your contact details and anything you send, such as tech packs, sketches, photos or sample garment details. WhatsApp click-to-chat links on the site open WhatsApp on your device; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and troubleshooting. We do not currently run advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. The site sets one functional cookie to remember your display theme preference. Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google's servers.

Google Maps. Our contact page embeds a Google Map. When it loads, Google may collect your IP address and set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy applies.

3. Why we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or sample costing.
  • To manage orders, sampling and production if you become a customer.
  • To keep the website secure and working.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations in Pakistan.

4. Our legal basis, in plain words

We use your data because you asked us to respond (steps before a contract), because we have a contract with you, because the law requires us to keep certain records, or because we have a genuine business reason, such as site security, that does not override your interests. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing emails without asking you first.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months, so we can follow up if you return.
  • Customer records (orders, samples, invoices, correspondence): for the life of the business relationship plus the period required by Pakistani tax and company law, typically up to 6 years.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short rolling period, usually under 30 days.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see section 8).

6. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and the business:

  • Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our email. Web3Forms does not store submissions as a product feature; see its privacy policy for details.
  • Netlify — hosts the website and keeps server logs.
  • Zoho Mail — our email provider; enquiries and correspondence are stored in our mailbox.
  • Google Maps — the map embed on the contact page.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us there.

We may also share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) under confidentiality.

7. International transfers

We are based in Pakistan. The providers above may store data on servers in the United States, the European Union or elsewhere. If you contact us from another country, your data will be transferred to Pakistan and to those providers. We choose providers that publish their own privacy and security commitments.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
  • stop using it for a specific purpose.

Email junaid@lahajam.com with your request. We aim to reply within 10 working days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

9. Children

This website is for businesses, schools and adult buyers. It is not directed at children. School uniform enquiries should come from school staff, parents or suppliers acting as adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, password-protected mailboxes with two-factor authentication where available, and we limit access to enquiry data to staff who need it. No system is fully secure; please do not send payment card details through the contact form or email.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or providers change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
